Pam trained in Newcastle in 1981. Her experience includes spinal injuries, adult community neurology and acute and community paediatrics.

Pam moved to Gateshead in 1988 to develop the service for children with cerebral palsy first for SCOPE and then for the Trust. She became superintendent in 1996 and in 2002 she also managed adult learning disabilities and specialist wheelchair therapy teams.

Due to her extensive knowledge of orthotics, she was given the role of orthotic manager for the Trust fulfilling this role for 10 years. Pam has worked with children for over 25 years working extensively with children with special needs and has used DEFOs for a number of years before joining the Company in 2012.

Pam also likes travelling, music and walking her dog. She likes making meals for friends – not necessarily from a recipe!
