Festive season raises money for local charity
DM Orthotics got into the festive spirit raising £195 for local charity Children’s Hospice South West and their Little Harbour hospice in St Austell.
The money was raised by staff at DM Orthotics led by Dianne Faulkner and Elaine Winstanley through a series of charity fund-raising events and activities including raffles, Christmas Card donations, Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar, Name the Teddy and Christmas Jumper Day.
Sarah Stott, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser stated,
“We are so grateful for your donation and for thinking of Children’s Hospice South West in this special way. Christmas is a poignant time of year for many of us and is particularly so for the families and children that we have the privilege to care for.”
Diane Faulkner from DM Orthotics commented,
“We all had a lot of fun raising the donation for Little Harbour. It was lovely to see everyone in the company get involved and give so generously.”
