Team DMO athletes nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards
Two of DM Orthotics’ sporting heroes from the 2016 Rio Paralympics have been nominated for the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
Kadeena Cox has been nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year following her phenomenal performance in Rio 2016 earning four medals including two Golds across two disciplines, cycling and athletics.
Para-archer Jessica Stretton has also been nominated for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after becoming Paralympic champion in W1 Archery in Rio.
The annual awards will be held at the Genting Arena, Birmingham and hosted by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan. The event, which was last held in Birmingham six years ago, will be broadcast on BBC One and the BBC Sport website.

Previous winners include tennis star Andy Murray and cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins.
