We recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of DM Orthotics!
Starting as a small endeavor in the town of Pool, Cornwall, to becoming one of the UK’s foremost Dynamic Elastomeric Fabric Orthoses (DEFO) Manufacturers, exporting to over 70 countries worldwide, DM Orthotics has continued to grow even through difficult times.
To celebrate this impressive milestone, all the staff at DM Orthotics went for a meal and drinks at the Inn for All Seasons, in Redruth— not far from our head office and manufacturing facility. It was a fun-filled afternoon, reuniting with old employees who helped establish DM Orthotics over the past twenty years, and thanking everyone for all their hard work and support.
Our Founder and Managing Director, Martin Matthews and his wife, Gerry, took the time to say a few words to everyone in attendance:
“It’s easy to say, but DM Orthotics represents all of us, not just the two of us. While it was our idea initially, it’s the collaborative effort of everyone in this room that has made DM Orthotics what it is today— and we can only express our gratitude to each of you.”

Moving forward, DM Orthotics aims to improve on what we’ve become over the past 20 years. By bringing in new people, refining our processes, and constantly looking at ways to innovate further and develop our Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO) to help patients manage a variety of neurological, musculoskeletal, and genetic conditions.
We continue to look towards the future for our staff, partners and patients alike, we can’t wait to show you what comes next!
