Patricia joined DMO in 2015 and became the UK Clinical Manager in 2016.

When asked about her areas of speciality Patricia said: “Paediatrics is where I started in 1994 and continued to love working with children throughout my career. I also was part of adult neuro-disability teams and in more recent years have become involved in finding orthotic treatments to help patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome”.

When asked what does she love most about her job Patricia said:

“I love everything about my job. Most of the people I see have lifelong conditions and remain in my care for a long time.

That means I really get to know them and have even been invited to their weddings. Being able to change someone’s life for the better is amazing and the brilliant, caring, and motivated team I work with is also a joy. It’s impossible to say what my aspect of my job is best – I genuinely love it all”.
