Sarah O’Leary has been a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with DM Orthotics since 2012. She completed her physiotherapy degree at UWE in 1999.

She became a clinician as she wanted to find a career that she truly enjoys. She truly values and appreciates her own physical abilities and independence and wanted a career and a job where she could help people truly maximise theirs.

We asked Sarah what do you enjoy most about your job?

The privilege of meeting so many people and joining them on their different journeys. This includes meeting some amazing therapists who are working with these people – when we work together therapists, patients, families and DMO clinicians then we can all bring our knowledge and expertise to work together as a team. Seeing improvements ultimately in a person’s quality of life is the best reward ever.

When Sarah isn’t seeing patients and working at DM Orthotics she can be found foraging in the woods and the coast with her dogs – though she says she is frequently too scared to eat most of what she finds!
