Our DMO® Custom Shorts are designed to aid lower limb function and posture whilst increasing core and pelvic stability.

These made-to-measure shorts are made from a compression fabric, which supports movement, without compromising comfort. Available in closed crotch or open crotch, as well as a variety of patented reinforcement panelling to provide the strength and stability you need.

Our made-to-measure Custom Dynamic Movement Orthoses® (DMO) are completely unique to you and your needs. Prescribed by trained clinicians, we can provide patients with a fully customisable, effective DMO that considers both the patients’ physical needs and personal tastes.

Utilising our patented reinforcements, our Custom Shorts can provide a range of benefits to help manage symptoms of your condition.

This orthosis can aid with:

• Pelvic and hip joint stability
• Reduced external/internal hip rotation
• Pain reduction

Not limited to one condition, these shorts are incredibly hard-wearing, assisting patients with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Low muscle tone, Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS & hEDS), Stroke and many more.

The DMO Custom Shorts are now also available in a range of patterned fabrics at no additional cost.

The main fabrics, fastenings and trims used in this device have been certified in accordance with OEKO-TEX Standard 100.  Certain optional additions may not be covered by OEKO-TEX® certification but are carefully assessed to ensure they meet our standards for safety, quality, and suitability for medical device use.

DMO® FAQs
Our orthoses work using strategically placed panelling which improves body alignment. This new positioning stimulates sensory systems throughout the body and re-programmes the brain, ensuring that muscles operate in their new state of optimal alignment.

Our orthoses use a unique elastomeric fabric designed to give the best combination of flexibility and comfort, enabling freedom of movement.
For our made-to-measure Custom range products you’ll need a clinician to assess, measure, prescribe and fit so please contact us for more information about pricing. If you’re outside the UK you may need to contact your nearest international supplier.

Prices are listed for our pre-sized products such as our Essential range on our website in the UK, the USA and Canada where they can be purchased directly. Pre-sized orthoses are also available through a number of our international suppliers and they will be able to provide more information about prices if you contact them directly.

You may also be able to access our products through NHS or Charity funding. However, NHS funding for orthoses varies throughout the UK. Your local NHS clinician should be able to inform you if there is a funding pathway in your area.
Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and the printing process. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but slight variations in colour may occur.
No, there is no additional cost for choosing patterned fabric. We believe in offering customisation without extra cost wherever possible.
No, choosing a patterned orthosis does not affect lead times. Production and delivery timelines remain the same as for our DMO classic colour range.
